Brineborn ยท First Life A compact, finite adaptation of Evolve's primordial evolution loop. Source: https://github.com/pmotschmann/Evolve Pinned source commit: 3436358dcd03d9f9e071d51ea071e0a78c0322e4 Upstream authors: Peter Motschmann and Evolve contributors. Upstream and adapted engine license: Mozilla Public License 2.0 (LICENSE.txt). The complete preferred source of the adapted engine is engine.js in this bundle. Original unmodified upstream source is available at the pinned GitHub commit. Ported mechanics: 2 RNA -> 1 DNA; linear per-count costs for membrane, organelles, nucleus, eukaryotic cell chambers and mitochondria; capacity expansions; organelle RNA production; nucleus RNA-consuming DNA production; 150/175/200 DNA evolution milestones. See src/actions.js (actions.evolution, evolveCosts) and src/main.js (primordial production and capacity calculations). Changes: original standalone interface and narrative; fourfold production clock; hold-to-gather; toggleable nuclei; a finite multicellular ending; three collectible lineages with equal economy; robust local saves; visible-tab progression; no civilization phase, prestige, network, import/export or account. This is a fictional incremental game, not a scientific model of evolution. Visuals: original four-scene atlas generated with the built-in GPT image tool for this game, optimized locally as life-atlas.webp. Molecular tide, primitive cell, eukaryotic cell and multicellular colony scenes are integrated into the live growth stages and ending. No upstream graphic assets are used. Fonts: device system sans and Georgia; no remote font dependency. Sound: optional synthesized sine tones; no audio files or network requests.
